How we make them
The salt is only as good as the base
A nicotine salt inherits everything from the nicotine it was made with. If the base carries colour, moisture or an unstable alkaloid profile, no amount of downstream care fixes it. So we start from base that has already been released at 99.9%, and prepare the salt from there.
Salts we prepare
Nicotine benzoate, salicylate, lactate, levulinate, malate, citrate, tartrate and bitartrate. If the acid you work with is not on this list, ask, and we will tell you whether we can prepare it.
Ratio and form
Mono or di salt, supplied as a crystalline powder or as a solution at a concentration you nominate. Tell us the molar ratio your formulation is built on and we will confirm it in writing before the batch is made.

Which nicotine salts do you supply?
Benzoate, salicylate, lactate, levulinate, malate, citrate, tartrate and bitartrate are routine. Other acids are considered on request.
Can you prepare a salt at our own molar ratio?
Yes. Batches are made to the ratio you nominate, and that ratio is stated on the order confirmation and on the certificate of analysis.
Do you supply salts as powder or as solution?
Both. Solutions are prepared at a concentration you specify. Tell us the carrier and strength your formulation is built around.
What nicotine base is used for the salts?
Our own base, released at 99.9% assay before salt formation, so the salt inherits a documented starting material.
